We take great pride in raising our puppies so they can be great companions. We try our best to match your family to a puppy whose temperament and energy level best matches your lifestyle and preferences, because they are not just a dog, they are a family member. Before our dogs enter our breeding program, we have their DNA tested to prove their lineage as well as to check for over 200 hereditary diseases. Once they have been cleared, we add them to our breeding program. We will generally have 2 - 3 litters each year depending on heat cycles. Keeping our dogs happy and healthy is our top priority.
Our puppies are born and raised inside our home. We are a family of seven who LOVE dogs and currently have seven of them. We breed our beautiful dogs to share their great temperament and good genes. We try to achieve the best possible health for our dogs and puppies. Golden retrievers are the perfect family dogs and we love to share them with you.
Part of what makes for a great dog is early socialization and that plays a huge role in raising our puppies. Our puppies are born in our home with lots of noise around them. The puppies are handled daily with neurological stimulation to scent, sound, and touch from humans. We have a range of ages in our family, so the pups get exposed to a little bit of everything.
Our puppies are ready to leave to their new homes at eight weeks of age, by then they have learned so much from their mom and siblings. When the weather is nice we take them outside for playtime. At three weeks of age we start potty training the puppies, the method we are using has helped families to get their new puppy house broken in a short period of time. We love to keep in contact with the puppy families for life. If you have any questions about training, feeding or raising the pups, we are glad to help. We also want to hear from you, how the puppy is growing, hear about fun experiences and love it when you share your pictures with us.
OUR BREEDING PROGRAM
Our puppies are raised in our home, under our feet and around our children. Your puppy will join your home already accustomed to the natural noises of a home. They are also introduced to cats as well as other dogs.
We feel that Early Neurological Stimulation (Bio Sensor) is a critical part of developing solid, well rounded, unflappable family dogs. This is just one way in which we strive to give our pups every possible advantage before they leave our family and enter yours.
From days 3 to 16 we use the Bio-Sensor Program. Listed in order of preference, the handler starts with one pup and stimulates it using each of the five exercises. The handler completes the series from beginning to end before starting with the next pup. The handling of each pup once per day involves the following exercises:
1. Head held erect
2. Head pointed down
3. Supine position (on their back)
4. Tactical stimulation (between toes)
5. Thermal stimulation
In tests of learning, stimulated pups were found to be more active and were more exploratory than their non- stimulated litter mates. The stimulated pups were also dominant in competitive situations.
In simple problem solving tests using detours in a maze, the non-stimulated pups became extremely aroused, whined a great deal, and made many errors.Their stimulated littermates were less disturbed or upset by test conditions and when comparisons were made, the stimulated littermates were calmer in the test environment, made fewer errors and gave only an occasional distress sound when stressed (Dr. Carmen L. Battaglia). Please go to:

VISITING YOUR NEW PUPPY
We always welcome people into our home to meet us and meet our dogs. We allow people to come and see the puppies after they are 4 weeks old. We offer video calls prior to this so you can see your puppy.
PICKING UP YOUR PUPPY
The full balance is due when you pick up your puppy. At 8 weeks of age you are welcome to come and pick up your puppy. For any reason you are not able to pick up the puppy at that time due to unforeseen reasons or vacations, we can hold the puppy for another two weeks. After that additional fees may apply. Delivery can be arranged as well . We don’t believe in shipping our puppies with airfare as this causes too much stress on the puppy. Our puppies will be up to date on all immunization, deworming and thoroughly checked by our vet. We will send along a goodie bag with about a weeks worth of high quality puppy food, a blanket with mom’s scent on it, and a chew toy.
Yes, we have all of our adult dogs DNA tested. They have also been tested for genetic health conditions. We can share this information with you upon request.
